The best years are now!

Today, April 11, 2022 is my 72nd birthday. Celebrating my birthday and the launch of my new website, "Treasures Of Hope" and a whole new season of blogging and writing.

How time flies I cannot believe how fast the years have come. I realize the value of the time I have. These are the best years of my life. Although the past has many regrets, I cannot turn the clock back and redo part of my life. King David wrote,

"Lord, make me to know my end, and what is the measure of my days that I may know how frail I am. Indeed you have made my days as handbreadths, and my age is as nothing before You." Certainly, every man at his best state is but vapor" (Psalm 39:4-5 NKJV).

Moses indicated that the typical lifespan in his day was only 70 years, 'and if by reason of strength they are 80 years." Moses then prayed,

"Teach us to number our days aright that we may gain a heart of wisdom" (Psalm 90: 10,12 NKJV).

God has a purpose for my life. And I'm moving forward. As Paul says,

"I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you, will [continue to] to perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:6 AMP). “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10 NKJV).

I have a responsibility to accomplish God's purpose for my life and I cannot do it without Him. I'm grateful to God for his provisions in my life. God is amazing! He answers prayers and his timing is perfect. At the right time he provided me with the right people with the expertise that is needed to help me towards achieving my goals.

There is power in planning and having a plan energizes and spurs one forward. Accountability is important as well as responsibility. Nothing can stop us,

for He that is in you is greater than he who is is in the world" (1 John 4:4).

God blesses the work of our hands and "with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26). "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength" (Philippians 4:13) and so can you!

In closing, Easter is only a few days away and I'm thankful to God for my salvation. How about you? How is your relationship with God? Rest assured, God is on our side. He is calling us. He wants no one to perish, but "desires all men to be saved" -for all people to receive "everlasting life" (1 Timothy2:4; John 3:16).

Please feel free to ask for prayers.

Be encouraged.
