living, breathing connection that shapes my thoughts, actions, and interactions with the world. It's not just a belief; it's the powerful, underlying current of my desire to live and serve Him. I've been incredibly blessed by the guidance of my spiritual leaders, who have provided countless opportunities for service and growth. And the encouragement of my dear friends, through our conversations and shared faith, has been instrumental in keeping my spirits high and my faith strong. This profound relationship is the source of my resilience, my creativity, and my deep-seated desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others."

Community chaplaincy

"The smiles, the tears, the warmth of a handshake—these are the moments that define my work with the seniors. Despite physical limitations, their hearts are open, their spirits strong, and their capacity for connection boundless. I see a resilience that inspires me, a warmth that transcends words, and a depth of spirit that reminds me of the profound beauty of human connection and the grace of God's presence in every life. It's in these shared moments of empathy and understanding that I find my own faith renewed and my heart overflowing with gratitude."

Friendships - Building faith

"My coffee catchups are more than social gatherings; they're sacred spaces of connection and spiritual growth. I approach each encounter with a mindful heart, praying for opportunities to share my faith and encourage others. These likeminded friends are instrumental, guiding our conversations toward moments of vulnerability and shared experiences—triumphs and struggles alike. We openly share our life journeys, offering prayer and support, witnessing the transformative power of God's grace. It's in these moments of connection, built on shared faith and mutual encouragement, that I find my faith renewed and my heart overflowing with gratitude."

The joy of Family - Renewed hope

"The birth of my youngest grandchild, now over five months old, has been a profound spiritual and emotional experience, a miracle of joy and renewal. I vividly remember the wonder of his arrival: the fresh feel of his skin, his innocent gaze as he looked up at me, and the songs of praise filling my heart. Those first moments were filled with an overwhelming sense of hope and love, a feeling reaffirmed each time I hold him now. As I sing and pray with him, his eyes following my lips, I see the face of God reflected in his innocent gaze. He arrived at a time when I so needed fresh hope, and he has become a constant source of strength and inspiration, renewing my spirit and reminding me of the enduring power of love and faith."

It's in these moments, big and small, that I'm reminded of the transformative power of faith. The joy of family, the miracle of a newborn's gaze, the strength found in shared struggles—these are the threads woven into the tapestry of my life, each one a testament to God's presence in His purpose. He orchestrates moments, both joyous and challenging, that no one else could create. He breathes fresh hope into the storms of life, reminding me that even in the darkness, His love and grace are ever-present. And in those moments, my desire for Him grows stronger, fuelled by the humbling realization that He is the author of my story, the architect of my journey, and the source of my unwavering hope.

Conclusion

"Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is nothing on earth I desire besides You." These words from Psalm 73:25 resonate deeply with me. They speak to the heart of my faith journey, a journey that has been shaped by the joy of family and the transformative power of God's love. The arrival of my grandson, a precious gift of hope, has filled my life with a new sense of purpose and wonder. Yet, even in the midst of this joy, I've come to realize that my true treasure, my ultimate desire, lies not in earthly things but in the presence of God Himself. He is the source of my strength, my refuge, and my eternal hope. "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." These words from verse 26 offer a powerful reminder that our relationship with God is not dependent on our own strength or circumstances. Even when life throws challenges our way, even when our hearts feel weary, God remains our unwavering source of strength and our eternal portion. He is the one who sustains us, who guides us, and who ultimately brings us to glory.

God is the source of my strength, my refuge, and my eternal hope. Through the thick and thin, He has been my provider, my giver, the one who has kept me together, sustaining me with His love, grace, and mercy from the time I began a personal relationship with Him. His presence in my life, even during times of brokenness, has been a constant source of strength and a testament to His enduring faithfulness."

God bless you this Christmas time and New Year!
