Suffering is an inevitable aspect of life; everyone faces challenges at some point. We have the option to either seek help or endure the suffering alone.

This post aims to encourage those who find it challenging to request assistance in times of need. Based on personal experience, enduring hardships alone did not alleviate any of my problems. It was the fear of others discovering my struggles that prevented me from seeking help. However, I realized that help was available if only I would ask for it.
Fear can deter us from seeking help when we feel isolated and vulnerable. It's important to remember that it's acceptable to ask for help and to take the time to find someone trustworthy to confide in. It's crucial to connect with people who are empathetic and will listen without passing judgment.

We were not designed to endure suffering alone; God created us to rely on Him. He is our Comforter and our source of strength in difficult times. Acknowledging this, we understand that seeking help also allows God to work through Christian friends, counsellors, and other professionals who can guide us to the support we need. God intended for us to live within families and communities. If we are part of a church, we should not hesitate to ask for help, as it is the right course of action. We must remind ourselves that trusting in God involves prayer and engaging with His Word.

The following Scripture passage encourages us not to worry but to present our needs to God through prayer and thanksgiving, making our requests known to Him:
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, NIV).

In conclusion, let's motivate each other to be vigilant for the lonely and needy in our society. We should be attentive to friends and newcomers in our churches, welcoming them warmly.
